Race Location
The World Championship Race location shall be rotated in a 3 year cycle.
Year 1 shall be held at a location picked by Shorty, most probably the Duckworks Annual Magnolia Beach messabout since it is such a great location.
Year 2's location and date will be determined by the fleet organizer which won the right to do so, and can't be Shorty.
Year 3's location and date will be determined the same as year 2, except it can't be from Shorty or year 2's fleet captain.
Then the cycle starts over again at year 1.

Rules for winning the rights,
to host future world championships

To get the rights for the next one, a Fleet Captain / Race Organizer (FC/RO) has to hold a race within 60 days before or after the current World Championship. The FC/RO with the largest number of PDRacers on the starting line in that time period, gets the rights and can then pick the date and location for the next calendar year WC race.

- The boats involved in the race must be setup in class legal configuration (meaning they are 3D), however they do not have to have hull numbers, or be configured in any other way besides class legal 3D.
- The starting line of the race has to be on the water, the hulls must be floating, and each boat must have a skipper in it. (I am gonna need a picture of that)
- The FC/RO is the person who is in charge of the race (determined location, promoted it, administered it). If you have a dispute within your fleet organization who that is, that is up to you guys to decide.
- The FC/RO does not have to have any other qualifications other than they organized the race which happed in the time window.
- The people who participate in the race do not have to belong to the FC/RO's fleet or have any other affiliation, it is just a matter of how many class legal hulls showed up on the start line.
- If 2 fleets have the same number of hulls, then the race that happened first gets the rights. (so record the exact time of day you got everyone out to the starting line)

Box of Boat Bits - If you look at the bottom of the trophy that David Sargent is holding, there is a box attached to the trophy. This box has bits of the winning boat of each world championship. This box is attached to the winning trophy and kept by the current champion till a month or so before the next World Championship race, then the box is seperated and sent to the organizer of the next World Championship, to be attached to the next WC trophy. After that race, a bit of the winning boat is added to the box, and it continues on.
