I sailed my Pdracer "Sittin" Duck on Lake Powell. The distance from the town I live in to Bullfrog Marina is 511 miles according to Mapquest: Though I didn't actually launch at Bullfrog. The launching point was the Stanton Creek primitive camping area which is a few more miles further than Bullfrog, but Mapquest couldn't map to the campground. [Mapquest Route]

I drove the entire way 511 miles+ in an 89 Nissan Pickup with "Sittin" In the bed of the truck. One note, when tying down the mast with a ratchet strap that connects to a hoop on the top center of the forward wall of the bed, be sure to shorten up the loose end so it doesn't drop between the cab and the bed, and get wrapped around the driveshaft at highway speeds, resulting in a very loud "BANG" from a part of the vehicle that should not be capable of making such a noise, and leaving a mast shaped dent in the roof of the pickup.
