Coos Bay is a real ocean estuary system. BIG
water with strong tides. I put in at the Coos BLM boat ramp on the North Spit,
near the mouth of the bay and while this little patch is protected,
have a care
and don't get sucked out to sea. A slightly more intelligent sailor may want
to look into sailing on the much safer South Slough Estuary.
