PD World Record for Carrying Weight and Number Of Bodies Aboard
One of the great features of a PD is that even though she is only 4' wide and about 8' long, you can carry a lot of weight and crew. Just to see how far it can be pushed (in a not very practical way), this record is about loading a PD up to the max.
Rules:
1 - Boat must be setup in class legal configuration, but does not need a sail rig or any specific propulsion
2 - The hull must be floating in the water
3 - Must travel 25 feet from launch point, with all weight and crew aboard
Weight Record:
4 - Only weight counted is from live bodies (including pets), weight of hardware or gear doesn't count
Bodies Record:
4 - Each body counted must be human
5 - Each body must be completely aboard, and no parts of their bodies may be submerged in water
