PD World Peak Speed Record


This record is about getting the PD to go as fast as you can, and recording that maximum speed you could get her to fly, even if it was only for a brief few seconds.

Speed Record Rules:
1 - Boat must be setup in class legal configuration
2 - Only sail and/or human power - no motors or stored energy devices
3 - Speed as measured & recorded by GPS in American Miles Per Hour
4 - GPS must be attached to the boat while recording the speed
5 - Boat must be on the water, no fair setting the speed record on a trailer, on the highway
6 - Must be sailed in an area where tidal flows & currents will not affect the speed
