PD World Speed Over Distance Record
This record is about travelling the fastest that you can, over a defined distance.

Speed Record Rules:
1 - Boat must be setup in class legal configuration
2 - Distance can be measured by GPS, if not then submit the means in which the distance was measured such as point to point between landmasses, bouys, or other charted features.
3 - Distance sailed does not have to be an even number, there are specified ranges so the distance you travel will fit in those ranges.
4 - You may make laps, if you have a GPS that logs distance travelled, you may use that for calculating distance travelled (does not have to be point to point).
5 - Boat must be sailed on the water, no fair setting the record on a trailer, on the highway
6 - Must be sailed in an area where tidal flows will not affect the speed
